The Kia logo is boring. That’s why I put the “K” script badge on.

No need to tell them anything, just point them to the KIA badge. Pretty simple ...
The other reason I swap out the KIA badge is, I'm a disabled Vet, I didn't won't KIA which to me stands for KILLED IN ACTION on my car. It's like me saying why do you install mods on your car, are you ashamed of the shock parts, No your not you do it to be different, to stand out from other cars.

Thank you for your service, sorry to hear of your continued association with that word and military terminology.

But comparing mods like shocks, window tinting, etc., is not the same as removing/changing out the OEM badge.

Everyone knows the reason why most of the small number of people do it.

Let's be honest ...

I still enjoy people's reaction when they realize the Stinger is a KIA. I love the brand.

Rebadging the stinger is personal choice, people do it to be different because it's a conversational piece. I've seen Chevy cars at the pavilions car show with Holden badging all the time...
I was about to make the same post. Never understood why people buy a certain brand/car and then go onto rebadge it.

People do it because it's their car an they can do whatever they want, you are entitled to your opinion. It's like your try to get people to change their mines on debadging, I spent a year in Korea, I like the way the "E" looks. Anyway the "E" badge still means its a KIA, It's just how the Koreans badge them. People don't know Or don't understand what the badging means an when you tell them that's the way they badge the car in Korea, Folks find that interesting. Now if I was putting a BMW badge on the car you would have a legit argument but people are installing OEM badges on the car.

Me either, doesn't make any sense whatsoever.

Like I've already stated, people doing something just because they can doesn't make their decision rational.

I'm not trying to change everyone's mind, just talking common sense and reason ... something that never goes out of style.

Regardless, my point remains wholly legtiimate by virtue of it's own merits.

Proud to park my Stinger GT! with real KIA markings in my driveway and tell all the curious about what it is.I live in a complex with a lot of BMW'S, Mercedes and other upscale cars. Let's promote the brand and show people what it means to be a KIA owner of a fine, fun to drive car. I traded my 2008 Pontiac G8GT six liter V8 in on my Stinger and I can say I am not sorry in any way. Both cars are and were great and I am glad I own the Stinger and owned my G8GT. None of us need to make excuses for a Stinger being made by KIA!!!
Well said~~ although I've changed my rear badge with the Stinger script badge, everywhere else's all KIA badges! I am a proud owner of KIA!
