    Winter Wheels & Tires

Kumho Wintercraft WP72 Stock Aluminum Wheels +5mm Spacer All Corners 245/40R19 Front 275/35R19 Rear EXCELLENT FIT! Traction and control of these tires are like nothing I’ve experienced from a winter tire in full winter conditions before.

    305 Width Rear Tires?

Worst case I guess would be to have 3-4mm shaved off the back of the wheel mounting surface at a shop to gain a little more on the front side. I think first run on the tires I’ll stick with 295’s on 10.5” and then measure clearances on a drive on hoist. This will be the test for 305’s

    305 Width Rear Tires?

@spider55 no sir, the initial thought was to go with a 20X10.5 with a 45mm offset. The inner clearance for this combination with a 295 or even 305 doesn’t worry me at all, it’s more the vertical outer side in reference to the wheel opening/quarter panel.

    305 Width Rear Tires?

I’m corrected in rereading - your wheels @spider55 are 11” wide not 11.5”....... This equates to 11mm on the back side reduced and only 1mm on the face side reduced. Would a 305 bulge too far and poke out beyond the quarter panel?

    305 Width Rear Tires?

Need to put this one to paper........ The difference between an 11.5” at 50mm and 10.5” at 45mm wheel is only 7mm reduced on the front side with 18mm reduced on the back side. This is where the dilemma lies; how wide is a 305/25ZR20 on a 10.5” wheel versus the width of a 295/30R20 on an 11.5”...

    305 Width Rear Tires?

That may work, do you have specs on your rear wheels? A 20X10.5” wheel with a 45mm offset could be a 5mm spacer difference, but it could work - a little math and measuring tape Theoretically, being 1” (10.5” vs 11.5”) on the wheels alone, with the actual profile difference of about 3/8” on the...

    305 Width Rear Tires?

Anyone tried a 305 rear tire yet on a 10.5"? There appears to be quite a bit of room, and a 255/30ZR20 in the front with a 305/25ZR20 in the rear would look fantastic - giving the back end more meat!! thoughts of this were from winter tires installed on factory wheels this weekend - 245/40R19...

Just found odd looking "track" like distortion on bumper ...

If it’s the paint only, it’s a chemical reaction. Often if there’s not enough dry time between coats, or the material is applied to thick in areas of corners or curves the paint reactivates and causes it to wrinkle like this. Was the bumper repainted at some point?
