anyone use another website besides tire rack for tires?

A pair or set of four?

I mean can any local tire shop beat tire rack? Discount tire shop in town is quoting me $200 more for set of blizzaks. That doesnt include mounting and balancing but thats probably $80?

It's that time of the year and I think I want dedicated snows for the stinger this year. Tire rack has the obligatory blizzaks, plus some coopers, continentals and dunlops. Looking to spend around $150/tire. Anyone have experience with any of these? Haven't bought snow tires in over ten years..

there is a fix, different rotors. met with service advisor last week. tech says there is nothing mechanically wrong with the pads and rotors. he thinks the grinding will go away once the pads get used to the new rotors. i told him he would be the first to know if it didn't

site says they are now on backorder

mmm, yeah still have the grinding when braking. meeting up with service manager this weekend. and btw my KIA dealer no longer has any stingers on the lot, bad sign?

did they give you the "new and improved" rotors or the same ones? my service manager said Kia sent them my rotors with the same part number but that the rotors "looked different" he didn't say how they looked different

new rotors are not vibrating but they sound like they are grinding when I come to a stop

and charged you $400?!?!?! you're doing it wrong. afraid you're going to have to get vocal (yelling) if you want results from the stealer

I would bring this to the attention of the service manager, thats what I did. If they are no help ask to speak to dealership management

nor at 2k or 9k which was my case. just got a text from SA saying my 3rd set of rotors are on and car is ready for pick up. anyone betting how long these will last?
